Bulldog Bonanza

Organized by the Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue, this pet-friendly event in Dallas is a must for bulldog lovers. Bulldog Bonanza is a fall event occurring in mid-November. It takes place at The Shacks at Austin Ranch in The Colony and features the Club’s adoptable bulldogs. And yes—you can bring your own dog! Comprised of a handful of restaurants all overlooking an open-air dog park, The Shacks is the perfect place to host a bulldog-centric event. So, if you’re interested in learning more about bulldogs and bulldog rescue, be sure to check out the Bulldog Bonanza. Volunteers will teach you about the basics of animal rescue, as well as the special needs of bulldogs. You just might come home with a brand new, compact, drooly, furry best friend! You can also purchase T-shirts and make donations directly to the Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue.

Howl-O-Ween

Interested in dressing your pup up for the holidays? Look no further than Howl-O-Ween. Taking place at the end of November, this pet-friendly event in Dallas gives pet-parents the chance to show off their dog in costume. Organized by MUTTS Canine Cantina, this annual event features a variety of costume competitions. You can even purchase homemade doggie treats from local vendors while enjoying your own “Barkarita”. If you want more pet costumes, you’re in luck! MUTTS Canine Cantina also hosts a Santa Paws event in late November. So, if you want to dress your pet up in a holiday outfit, and maybe get their picture with Santa, this is the event for you. Dallas Dash Scavenger Hunt

The Dallas Dash Scavenger Hunt is organized as an AirBnB experience. This pet-friendly event in Dallas takes place both indoors and outdoors, with lots of options for customization. It takes about two hours, and entails lots of walking, but in the end, you and your furry friend will have completed a scavenger hunt! Dog Days of Summer

One of the pet-friendly meccas of downtown Dallas, Pegasus City Brewery hosts an annual Dog Days of Summer event. This incredible pet-friendly event in Dallas features a pet portrait illustrator, pet-centric vendors, and even a splash pool for pups. Pegasus Brewery has you covered with drinks and food, both for you and your furry friend! Occurring in mid-August, this event combines live music, doggie fun, drinks, and tons of dogs. Encompassing a huge area, the Dallas Farmers Market is perfect for your next walk with your furry friend. While there, the two of you can take in the vendors, restaurants, and farm-fresh shops. 

Gobble Gobble Goat Yoga
